Our team has a passion for the solar business and designs innovative photovoltaic production systems developed from years of extensive experience and technical expertise in renewable energy, glass applications and glass processing.
Teknisolar Ltd was founded in 2009. In a joint venture, Teknisolar was involved in development of new technology for stringers, junction box design, and busbar soldering equipment. Currently, Teknisolar specializes in design and manufacture of high quality and high performance photovoltaic laminators.
Teknisolar Ltd and its shareholders also own Teknisolar Srl, in business since 2016 and located in Italy where our R&D facilities are.

Our Mission and History
The Teknisolar team is made up of professionals that have over 170 years of cumulative experience in the manufacturing of glass lamination equipment, and our lamination solutions have been developed in association with leading world experts and university professors in fluid dynamics and heat transfer.
Our first automated multi-level pilot laminator, finished in April 2010, had five levels and was on display in September 2010 at the 25th European Photovoltaic Solar Energy Conference and Exhibition in Valencia (6 – 10 September 2010). Since then, we have developed new generations of laminators that moved us away from the use of silicone membranes. Our newest generation of diaphragm-free laminator, the Robostak, is single-level and has been built to guarantee a higher quality lamination process in a shorter cycle time. This machine also boasts a unique versatility so manufacturers can process both glass-glass and glass-backsheet crystalline modules or any other type of module including thin-film and CIGS on the same laminator.
Teknisolar’s mission is to give our clients a competitive edge in the solar panel market by designing and manufacturing high-performance, low-maintenance equipment for photovoltaic production lines. Our focus in 2018 is on inserting the best lamination technology in the world into quality guaranteed production lines manufactured in Europe.
